The Grand Theater opened at its current location on September 28th, 2001.  The first two movies shown at the new Grand Theater were Atlantis and Pearl Harbor. The Grand Theater is owned by the Baudette Community Foundation, a

non-profit organization set up by many community members and local organizations to fund the theater. It is operated by a manager under the guidance of the Board of Directors.
